For an increasing number of companies in an expanding range of industrial applications, predictive structural engineering is reducing the cost and time of product development while improving product reliability and performance. Essentially any kind of load environment and structural response can be simulated, which provides insight to design teams and opens the door to innovation.
Gladstone Engineering has partnered with a number of industrial firms to provide them with a structural analysis capability. Examples of typical projects include design of high-temperature combustor components for a zero-pollution steam generator, evaluation of the survivability of a complex air separation system in a shock environment, and computation of thermal stresses in the pipes of a chemical handling facility.
