Gladstone Engineering was launched in 2007 to provide consulting and engineering services for clients whose products are wholly or partly comprised of engineered structures.
Gladstone Engineering's principal is Dr. Jeff Gladstone. Dr. Gladstone worked from 1985 through 2006 for Aerojet, a world-recognized aerospace and defense leader with a long history of technical innovation. Aerojet's strengths are rocket propulsion and supporting engineering technologies.
Dr. Gladstone received his BS degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, in 1985. In 1989 he completed his MS degree in Engineering/Structural Mechanics at the University of California, Davis, and in 1995 he completed his doctorate, also at UCD in Engineering/Structural Mechanics. His doctoral thesis was entitled "An Equivalent Homogeneous Model for the Nonlinear Finite Element Structural Analysis of Flexseals and General 3D Elastomeric Bearings." The process of writing a finite element code from the bottom up has provided Dr. Gladstone with hands-on insight into the foundational features of FEA—insight that translates into efficient solutions for your structures-related challenges.
